St. Louis Clayworks is a regional ceramics collective of 3 area artists- Phillip Finder, Erica Iman, & Ashley Drissell- working in various clay disciplines. Our work ranges from functional pottery to sculpture based on turn-of-the-century apothecary vessels and architectural elements borrowed from modernist design. Erica, Phil, and Ashley met in graduate School at SIU-Edwardsville while pursuing Master of Fine Arts degrees. Since 2010 we have teamed up for firings and sales, such as Schlafly Art Outside, Tower Grove Farmers Market, WPA Pottery and Glass Sales at SIUE, and Rock n' Roll Craft Show.
